SwordFit! Basics
Wednesdays from 12 noon to 1 pm
Fun, Fitness & Flexibility!  Not a fencing class - this is a new and exciting fitness program!  SwordFit uses the two-handed European Longsword to work through solo movement exercises, swords strikes and parries that build aerobic fitness, strength, balance, flexibility and coordination.  Warm-up stretching exercises at the beginning of class prepare the body for the workout, and the cool-down stretches at the end extend flexibility, leaving your body strong and toned.  Equipment provided. 

SwordFit! Complete 
Wednesdays from 12 noon to 2 pm
Fun, Fitness & Flexibility!  Extend your SwordFit! workout with solo forms and exercises of abrazare (techniques for empty hands, together with composed body movements) and azza (poleaxe)!  The combination of the two teaches improved balance and coordination, and is an excellent whole body workout.  Equipment provided.
